Our Story
About Us
Founded in 2014, Mini Lingos was established by Jo Morris - a fully qualified and experienced Secondary School Spanish and Business Studies teacher and mum of two young boys (now 12 and 9). Jo's passion for teaching Spanish, together with her love of working with young children, inspired her to launch these musical language classes.

"As a mum and a lover of different cultures and all things Spanish, I definitely recognised the importance of early language learning but just couldn't find any classes to take my own boys to. So...I decided to create my own parent and baby/toddler drop-in classes, which proved extremely popular."

The success of Jo's drop in classes led to the expansion of Mini Lingos within nursery settings as regular weekly bookings.
Jo's philosophy is that children learn best by actively participating, experiencing and most important of all, by having FUN. This is the core belief behind Mini Lingos' approach.

Since 2014, an ever increasing number of nurseries have chosen to work with Mini Lingos for their setting, enabling children to learn Spanish in an enjoyable and engaging way.
