About Us

Founded in 2014, Mini Lingos was established by Jo Morris - a fully qualified and experienced Spanish teacher and mother of two young boys. Jo's passion for teaching Spanish and working with young children inspired her to launch these musical language classes.

As a mother and languages enthusiast, Jo recognised the importance of early language learning but was unable to find any suitable Spanish classes to take her boys along to. As a result, she decided to create her own parent and baby/toddler drop-in class, which proved to be extremely successful with positive feedback from parents, grandparents, nannies, and carers. This success led to the expansion of Mini Lingos into regular weekly nursery classes, which rapidly grew in popularity.

My daughter’s old nursery used Mini Lingos for weekly Spanish classes which I thought was completely ridiculous at 20 months. I was wrong, they absolutely loved it, the class may have taken place on Monday morning but they still spoke about it at pick up. One night a couple of weeks after starting my daughter was saying ad - josh and I realised she was saying adios and it just continued from there. It’s clearly a fun, interactive class that the children were completely engaged in.
